Afyon Kocatepe University Faculty of Sport Sciences began providing education and training services in 2001 as the School of Physical Education and Sports. It was transformed into the Faculty of Sport Sciences by Decision No. 1773, published in the Official Gazette No. 30945 dated 11 November 2019, and has continued to develop rapidly, taking its place among the leading institutions contributing to Physical Education and Sport Sciences.
